My art was started mostly for my love of Texas history and to honor ALL the men and women that have ever served in the United States Military. I sell mostly at outdoor festivals and am constantly asked about the flags history. In an effort to share our beautiful flag history (correctly) I have included under each flag (that I have made in the past), a tab that is linked to different educational type websites. The tab gives you the name of the flag, if you would like to read about the history just click on the tab which will take you to a page with the history on that flag. On the banner above each set of flags I have listed which website is used. If you run into any issues with these websites please let me know. I am merely trying to share correct information.

I have not found a real picture/interpretation of Santa Anna's Bloody Red Banner/No Quarter Flag that he had raised at the San Fernando Cathedral during the siege of the Alamo so between a written description I once saw in a book and the ones used in the movies I came up with my own version, this banner is to the left.
