Patriotic Art
The rustic ribbons and patches are not massed produced but each loving made
by my own hands in honor of those who have served this great country.
While I wish I could make a ribbon at no charge for each veteran they are very time consuming
from finding the old wood, hauling it to my work shop, unloading, storing, de-nailing, cutting & disposing
of the unusable parts, milling, then assembling the plaques & shadowboxes and that is just the wood!
Each piece of tin is cut by hand & painted in several stages to get all three colors just right then
mounted onto the rustic wood. This is truly 'a labor or love!!'
I chose tin and old wood for a reason, that reason is spelled out on my welcome page
under Our Fighting Forces. To make the ribbon your own I will be happy to personalize it at
no additional charge with whatever military information you want. I suggest putting across the top
name and rank, across the sides perhaps branch and years served, unit, motto, battles fought,
anything you want. Here are a couple of examples.
As for the patches they are all free hand, below you can see some of the patches I
have already tried my hand at and I would be honored to try my hand at yours.
Just email me a picture of your patch (if you do not have one try the Internet) and I will let you know.
On these two items I try to keep the price as low as possible in hopes that each
veteran who wants one can afford one.
For the most part the patches run $30 but can run higher if very detailed.
